Joining as a Member

General Membership

For an annual of fee of £70 you can become a member of Dekkle Printmaking Studios. This will allow you to use all our facilities for a minimum rate of £15 per half day session or £20 for a day session. This would be suited to those who have experience of printmaking and would like to continue their own print practice under supervision and have any questions answered. This would also include a health and safety induction, tissue paper and 10% discount on courses and access to one to one tuition at £25 per hour.

We have a range of papers that can be purchased at the studio however you are more than welcome to bring your own supplies if it suits.

We can also order in all your desired papers for printing, metal for etching, lino, wood, tools and anything else you require for your practice.

As a member you will also be informed of every event that is held at Dekkle, with opportunities to exhibit at our studio. You can also have your contact details placed on our mailing list so that you are kept up to up to date and will be able to network with other artist printmakers.

Wednesday Evening Open session for members 6-9pm by appointment

Times and access at other times can be arranged for members with prior notice.

Postal Membership

Dekkle Printmaking Studios is offering a postal membership for artists who want to produce original prints and editions who are unable to access the studio in person.

Should the artist wish to come to the studio to oversee or to discuss the job this is also possible by appointment.

Rates for processes as well as proofing and editioning are available and vary depending upon each job. The membership is priced at £200 per year and includes a 10% discount on editioning.

• Preparation of plates and blocks
• Grounding
• Etching
• Aquatinting
• Stopping out
• Printing proofs, usually done in sets of three
• Editioning, more than 15 per edition
